FIRST STEPS: (Setting Up Your Team)
- FIND YOUR REALTOR AND SIGN THEM UP TO BE ON YOUR TEAM – Ask them to set you up on a reliable MLS Auto Prospecting Program, that will keep you informed of new activity on listings in the areas that you may have an interest. Let them know you are serious by signing a “Buyer Broker Agreement” that outlines the responsibilities of the Realtor and you.
- FIND A LENDER AND SIGN THEM TO BE ON YOUR TEAM – Provide your lender with the information which is required for them to complete a PRE-APPROVAL LETTER for you, and to provide to your realtor. Have your realtor prepare a draft offer with your name and and other conditions you want when presenting your offer. Read it and understand it, so you are not struggling with it when the right property comes up.
- SET UP YOUR ALERTS ON THE (MLS) Multiple Listing Service: Once your alerts are set, you will receive a notification for new listings the instant they are entered into the MLS system. Make sure you to call your agent if they haven't called you already. Let them know you want the property and put together a plan to see it and submit your offer as fast as possible.
